TAI YAN PALACE - TECUMSEH, ON

This restaurant has changed it's name from Tai Yin and is under new management. I called to speak to the manager after receiving burnt rice and crab rangoon that was almost empty of any crab stuffing. I was asking for a credit on the 2 items the next time I ordered. The female manager passed me off to a male manager who was unable to give me the $12.40 credit. He said the best he could do was give me an $8.54 credit (20%) I explained that I was a 20 year customer that he was going to lose over $3.86 and he was making a poor business decision! Then he told me he was not the manager and that it was his first day on the job. When I asked to speak to the female manager again she said it was the best she could do and she had no real explanation why she passed me off to a non manager on his first day on the job and she was not concerned about losing the patronage of a 20 year loyal customer. You probably won't have to worry about reading many more reviews as I can not imagine they will be in business much longer. And their food now sucks! I gave a 1 star review because a zero was not available.
