Hi,
I got my dress from Diva in April 2012. My
gown was from St. Patrik. Here are my
comments:
Good points:
- They have variety of beautiful dresses. You
have many options to choose and the quality
of the bridal gowns was good with a
reasonable price. (I have no idea about their
other type of dresses)
- They have friendly staffs. Very nice and
kind Italian ladies.
- They try to help you if you are in rush (as
I was)
- My first feeling about their Chinese (?)
taylor was that is she understanding what
I’m saying? I was a little worried that my
dress become shorter or not as tight as I
want. But she did a great job. And I should
say that she was a very nice person
Draw backs:
- I think their veils and the other
accessories are overpriced.
Hello! I want to advise anyone who is thinking of making a purchase at Diva to go elsewhere. The dresses you try on are not even close to what you receive. When I brought my bridesmaids into the boutique, we saw many dress styles that we liked. All the bridesmaids picked and placed their orders for their dresses. My mother did as well. Although the dress prices are quite reasonable and beautiful, the customer service is disgusting. I was originally advised that once my bridesmaid’s pick up their dresses we can than order their shawls. Well, clearly this was false information. Once the dresses came in, I asked as to how much the shawls would cost. One, the price was outrageous, two it would take three months for these shawls to come, when I was a month away from my wedding date. At this point, I am already heated. Than my bridesmaids individually start calling me in regards to their dresses all stating that once they tried the dress on it had a ‘boxed shape’. I understand that most boutiques do alter the dresses you try on so they ‘fit like a glove’ theoretically. On top of that, their seamstress works ridiculous hours, don’t even bother going in the evening or weekends, and prepare to pay top dollar for simple alterations. Finally, my mother’s dresses finally arrived. Both her morning and evening dress were darted. (Meaning a seam line running through the middle of the dress). The lady advised my mother that this is normal and is for alteration purposes. They kept convincing her that this is OK and she is to come back when the seamstress is working. My mother kindly paid, and brought her dresses elsewhere. Wedding planning can be very stressful and I am fortunate my decorator, event hall, photographer and everything else were so wonderful. Places like this should TRY make things run smoothly. Unfortunately, all I received from DIVA was grief.
