I booked with Gala because it is true they have the cheapest airfare out there, but those savings come at a cost. When I flight was book from the wrong city, I was forced to race across India to catch the flight from the city it had been booked in, not the city I was in or the city I had requested, as my return booking had been done once I left Canada (huge mistake!). When I returned to Canada I informed Gala of the mistake they had made and the expense incurred having to fly across India to to catch the flight they had mistakingly booked me. It took them a while to respond and I eventually had to call them, where I was met with harsh patronization. Apparently this was all my fault and Gala took no blame for it, I asked to speak to a superior, who was too busy to take m call and would call me back later, three days passed and I had to call him. Where I was put in contact with the same woman (P.) who booked the wrong flight for me in the first place, she shouted over top of me refusing to let me speak, blaming the whole incident on my ignorance. I had to hang up oner and call back directly to the manager (who I later found was not as superior as I had been told, just another sales rep) he told me that P. had assured him we spoke over the phone about the flight details and the city booked is what I had requested. I assured it is was impossible that while in the remote village in India, I awoke in the middle of the night to account for the 12 hour time difference, then walked to find a non-existent 25 hour pay phone and paid the exorbitant international calling fees. This simply did not happen but P. insisted with her lies to cover her b..,, so a full investigation went under way (by the actual manager this time) into all the archived phone calls, he admitted that no such call could be found (meaning P. had lied) and that there was no evidence from phone calls that I had asked for my ticket to booked form the city she booked it from. The only evidence we had was the email I sent to her which clearly stated the city I needed to depart from, but for some reason this was over looked. In the end, my calls and emails were constantly ignored to avoid the problem and no resolution was ever made. I beg you to think twice before booking a trip with this company, they have no idea what customer service means.
