My daughter started dancing with Donita at the age of six. For many years I sat at the side and watched, and finally I asked Donita if she could teach me. I was 39 years old and had no previous training. She embraced the challenge with enthusiasm and has encouraged me every step of the way. I think it says a great deal that, in spite of taking this on at a more advanced age I have never been injured. When you watch ballet being performed well, it looks so easy! Reality is much harder. My strength and posture have improved and so has my appreciation for this beautiful art form. I will never challenge Karen Kain, but I can dance! Thank you Donita.

I started my ballet journey almost 3 years ago and discovered Donita Ballet School after deciding that I wanted to improve my technique. I had been taking ballet classes at an adult drop in studio and thought that I had most of the basics, that is, until I stepped into Donita's class for the first time. This school helped me learn how important mastering correct form are to execute grander ballet movements.Donita takes the time to improve every detail of her students’ technique and encourages hard work to achieve your goals. She is an excellent ballet teacher who cares about her students and is always ready to help you be the best dancer she knows you are capable of. I highly recommend Donita Ballet School for dancers who are ready for their technique, musicality and discipline to be challenged and improved.
