WORD OF MOUTH UPSCALE - TORONTO, ON

I wanted to exchange a gift at this store. The owner did not have what I wanted in stock, (and kept on pressing me to buy an alternative I did not need), so he grudgingly gave me a credit note and told me he would look into the item that I did want (with a company he did carry)and call me when he found out about its availability. After a week and a half I returned to the store to enquire about the item. At first, he tried to once again sell me something more expensive but when I asked whether or not he managed to contacted the company I had suggested, he FLIPPED OUT at me and started yelling that I had not given him enough time to look into it, and besides, the item I wanted of bad quality. I don't he would have been quite as rude if my husband had been standing behind me. The stuff in his store isn't "upscale" or special in any way, and I think he thinks more of his inventory than he thinks of his customers, certainly his female ones. DO NOT buy stuff from this disrespectful j***.
